Selena Gomez is a fashion icon in her own right. But now she is trying to show her more mature side in fashion. Take a look at her Elle Girl magazine cover, where she takes class and mixes it with retro glam. You can see that the magazine is not a US based one or an English speaking country.
Selena, who has been trying to shed her Disney image seems to have found a classy way to do such. Her past looks were more junior clothing based and now she is growing up. The retro glam look has not been looked upon as a good thing by some fans of hers, but others are a fan of the new and improved Selena. She has grown up to be a respectable star who just wants to be taken seriously in her music.
Can you blame her for wanting to grow up? I certainly can’t and at least she is doing it with class. I don’t think you could ask for more than a classy person and mature than Selena. I do think that Selena needs to draw the line between work and pleasure. I would do her some serious good and be a major plus for her fans. Then she might be able to do more tours and things like that along the nature of makeup without always taking a break.
