According to a report from Gossip Center, Selena and her band performed their single called Love You Like A Love Song. As far as quality goes, Selena gets a B- for her voice during the performance. Even though the band as a whole sounded pretty good, Selena came across as either very tired (she has been galavanting all over the country with boyfriend Justin Bieber!) or maybe like she was coming down with a cold. The energy she exuded definitely didn't come through in her vocals.
What Selena Gomez lacked in singing luster, however, she certainly made up for in appearance. The girl is nothing if not positively adorable, and she was glittering on stage like a Christmas tree freshly tinseled. Her silver mini dress fit her persona and her performance (not to mention her curves) like a glove.
Something Selena Gomez may not have known prior to performing on the Tonight Show is that Simon Cowell of both X-Factor and American Idol fame was a guest on the show Monday night as well. How might he have graded her performance?
Fortunately Simon wasn't visiting in that capacity. He was merely a guest. Some folks who saw the performance, however, fear that Simon's critique might not have been particularly favorable.
A rumor had been circulating that perhaps boyfriend Justin Bieber might take the stage along with Selena Gomez for her Tonight Show appearance, but that apparently didn't come to fruition. Perhaps he headed back to work instead, as there is a new Bieber album in the making.
