Selena Gomez is taking a break from her We Own the Night concert tour before taking it to Canada in October. While enjoying some down time with boyfriend Justin Bieber, she's supporting breast cancer awareness, too.
According to Hollywood Life, Selena is sending a very important message about breast cancer awareness with the shoes she was recently spotted wearing while on a date with Justin Bieber. The shoes--Eddie ballet flats by Tory Burch--are very special when purchased in hot pink, which is exactly what Selena did.
For each pair of Tory Burch Eddie ballet flats that are sold in hot pink, the company donates a percentage of its proceeds to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. And while some people may be thinking, "So, she bought the shoes--how is that really helping?" You may be surprised to learn the answer to that question!
You see, so many young girls look up to Selena Gomez--and because of that, and the fact that she really does provide a pretty wholesome option in the music industry for her young fans--many moms look up to Selena, too.
